(Friday, September 25, 2020) – We enjoyed a splendid fall day in Stillwater with temps in the mid-70’s. Our day trip adventure included a paddleboat ride on the St. Croix River, a walk along the river near the old lift bridge, and some visits to a couple of shops in town. The paddleboat tour included a delicious lunch and we were able to sit on the top deck of the boat for some spectacular views of Stillwater and the bluffs that were full of trees that were showing splendid fall colors.
We had a fun day trip in Stillwater – the riverboat ride wasn’t narrated, but it offered a chance for us to guess the song names and artist of the many ’70’s and 80’s selections played during the two-hour trip – haha!
