(Monday, April 3 to Wednesday, April 12, 2017) – Linda and I went on an Ohio adventure trip to visit the area in Akron where I grew up and went to college. It was a fun adventure visiting the houses where I grew up (in Jackson Township near Massillon & in the Ellet area of Akron). We also took in some local sights by visiting the Stan Hywet Mansion, which was owned by the Seiberling family (who founded the Goodyear Tire Company). We found time for a couple of quick visits with friends and family during our time in the Akron area.

After spending some wonderful time in the Akron area, we headed to the southern part of the state – Cincinnati. While in the Cincinnati area, we visited the Ark Adventure, located in Northern Kentucky. The Ark Adventure is a full-scale recreation of Noah’s ark, to the same dimensions as indicated in the Bible. It was an amazing place to visit and walk through the three stories of the recreated ark.

One of the highlights of our Ohio adventure was a Segway tour of the Cincinnati riverfront area. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, sunny and in the 70s, and our guide gave us some good history of the areas we segwayed through.

The Ohio adventure was fun and meaningful; we’re so grateful that it’s in God’s plans for us to travel and enjoy the beauty of his creation!
Thank you so much for letting us go on these tours with you! Especially liked the Ark pictures and information. Thanks again!
Love,
Aunt Mary
