(April 24-29, 2010) – What a memorable time spent in Fort Worth, Texas! Experienced wonderful memories with colleagues, friends, and many new friends during the NACE Technical Conference held during this week.

Met many new friends from all over the country and exchanged experiences in our work on different topics in some valuable networking. The many great technical sessions of the conference provided valuable information that can be applied and benefit me in my work. Downtown Fort Worth provided many great walking opportunities and also discovered the “Water Gardens” located across from the hotel that was memorable.

The Conference Event, at Billie Bob’s (the world’s largest Honkey Tonk) in the Stockyards of Fort Worth was also a lot of fun and memorable! Never thought I’d ever ride a mechanical bull (LOL) – well, actually the thing more threw me for a ride than I rode it! Haha!

The highlight of the time in Fort Worth was spending time with friends and colleagues, meeting new friends, and learning new things. Of course, it was very special to receive a national award! I will always have fond memories of the president’s banquet and receiving the Program/Project Manager of the Year Award!

What special memories I’ll always have of the special award, and sharing with many friends and colleagues in Forth Worth, TX!
