Allianz Field Adventure!

(Saturday, June 29, 2019) – A visit to the new home of the Minnesota United Football Club (the Loons) in Saint Paul was in order and occurred on this hot summer afternoon (heat index in the upper 90s). With many highways closed due to road construction and limited parking around the stadium, a “park-n-rail” option was implemented.  The $10 “Railgaiting” ticket, purchased at a Minneapolis establishment, included a beverage, parking for the game, and an “all-day” rail pass.  The train ride took about 15 minutes, and a total of about 30 minutes with walking on each end from the train stations.

It was a fun adventure to watch an MLS soccer match at the new MN United stadium, Allianz Field.  The stadium was amazing, and it appeared that there wasn’t a bad seat in the house!
